Your Room

Hardwood floors bathed with great morning light, the room is quiet and relaxing - a perfect place to come home to after an exhausting day running around the massive and fast-paced city. The room is located on the south-west side of the building, with plenty of light and generous closet space and storage. The room size is 10.5 x 10 foot which fits a queen-sized bed, wardrobe and small desk easily.

Shared Rooms

Mid-century modern and designer pieces will be used to furnish the shared spaces alongside plenty of contemporary art. Expect a low-slung couch, comfy chairs, wall mounted TV, indoor greenery and a shared work desk (Expect CB2, BluDot and Restoration Hardware pieces to feature throughout). The kitchen is recently renovated with new fixtures and fittings and all new stainless-steel appliances and marble countertops. With plenty of countertop space, brand new dishwasher and full of equipment it's perfect for the amateur chef. The bathroom has also been recently renovated, with subway tiles, new stainless steel towel racks, storage trolley and shower curtain.

Your Roommates

I am a 28 year-old, ex-architect, living in New York with my husband. We both have completed our studies, run businesses, love what we do and where we live! We love exploring the city and finding new restaurants, wine bars, live music, and art exhibitions to go to. We enjoy cooking, a glass of wine as well as the occasional dinner party. Your other housemate is yet-to-be-determined but rest assured they'll most likely be super-charming.

The Neighborhood

Harlem is very diverse area in Upper Manhattan with a rich cultural history. Our building is located right between the Sugar Hill, Hamilton Heights, and Central Harlem districts. With lots of students, artists, musicians, actors, dancers, community activists, young professionals, families, and seniors, Harlem has a very lively atmosphere. With plenty of foot traffic, the neighborhood is cosmopolitan but safe. Plenty of cafes, bars, parks, restaurants, shops, churches, and small businesses abound. People are always out and about walking their dogs, coming home from or going to work, or going out for a fun time. Our local places within a 5 minute walk are:
