Split alcove studio in doorman building at 8th Ave. & W. 47th St. (Elevator, laundry, gym, lounge)

I plan to move closer to work, so I am looking to assign my lease or sublet my apartment at 8th Ave. & W. 47th St. (specifically in The Biltmore building). It’s an alcove studio that has been split with a temporary wall to have 2 bedrooms. You would be sharing the place with 1 roommate, a nice, polite girl who works in investment banking.


The building itself is really nice, including:
- Doorman
- Elevator
- Laundry on site
- Gym and lounge access
- Outdoor balcony
- Package delivery and holding
- Valet services.


The lease is through July 31, 2019 – I would ideally like to assign the lease for the whole term, but I’m definitely open to subletting. It would be available early this August, and the monthly rent is $1,625 per person (utilities and wifi are separate).


Included are various pictures of the room / apartment (my bedroom furniture would not be included ☺ ). Please reach out if you’re interested or have questions!

Additional fees

As part of the approval process, you will be required to provide the building management the following: (i) a copy of your photo ID, (ii) 2 most recent, consecutive paystubs (or an employment offer letter); and (iii) bank statement (if both checking and savings, one of each).
