The building was once home to literary legend Ralph Ellison, and singer Marian Anderson.

The Beaumont is centrally located between two major train lines. It is a 7-minute walk from the 1 train at the 145th Street station, and approximately 10 minutes from the A and C trains at 155th St. It is three short train stops from Columbia University.

The apartment is newly renovated and contains four bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom. The kitchen features new appliances and a full-sized dishwasher. The apartment boasts high ceilings with Beaux-Arts detailing, spacious closets and oversized windows.

The bedroom is fully furnished with a desk, closet and queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress. The bedroom and living room each have 48″ smart TVs, complete with Netflix, Hulu, and more. The living room features stylish designer accents and a cocktail cabinet with basic bartending supplies. High-speed WiFi is included.
