We absolutely love this apartment and the location, but we recently bought a home and are leaving the area. Very large, charming, high-ceiling, north-facing, quiet, 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Greenwich Village - right on Washington Square Park. Gorgeous light all day with extensive windows and views of the Chrysler building.
24/7 doorman elevator building, laundry in the basement, front door is literally 20 steps from Washington Square Park. I won’t list all the amenities and benefits of living in the middle of the village – that speaks for itself. Apartment is large, at 900 sqft+. Live-in super is very responsive; fixes any/all problems very quickly.
Huge bedroom with 3 big windows, 1 facing east for morning light, and 2 facing south. Easily fits a king-size bed w/ room to spare. (In the pictures, currently has a folding table set up as a desk in front of one of the windows for working from home.)
Living room: 20 foot ceilings, with huge 16' tall window, and working wood-burning fireplace. Beautiful, unique herringbone hardwood floors! Plenty of room for 2 couches, a table for dining, and a bar or recreation space.
Kitchen: Windowed and with dishwasher! High ceilings give you tons of extra storage on top of cabinets.
