Two block from the East River / Kent Ave where the east river ferry takes you to downtown Walls St, DUMBO or mid-town Manhattan, and a protected bike lane to ride easily to other parts of Brooklyn, like Greenpoint or Prospect Park, both a pleasant bike ride (or many direct buses).
