I will be relocating overseas in July and would like to find someone to take over my current lease. The lease runs until March 4, 2025, and could be renewed beyond that.

The apartment:
- Huge (1,115sqft) 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit
- Very, very bright (South facing)
- Top floor, corner unit
- Lots of closet space, including a walk-in closet (see floorplan in the pictures)
- High ceilings (8’8 == 265cm)
- Built-in Air Conditioning (PTACs)
- All windows have mosquito screens
- Can come furnished or unfurnished

The building ("West 96th" at 750 Columbus Ave) is a full-service rental building with a 24h doorman and shared laundry room, gym, bike storage, roof (with grills free to use) and playroom. There is also car parking, but I have no experience using it so I cannot answer questions about it. The building has many long-term friendly tenants – I have met many of them with young children at the playroom. Pets are OK.

Monthly rent is $6,406.00, which includes a mandatory $75/mo amenity fee. This is cheaper than comparable units currently on offer within the building -- search for "750 Columbus Ave" on Streeteasy (sorry can't post links here).
