Hello! I’m looking for a female roommate to take over the master bedroom in my East Harlem apartment starting 12/1 for $1300/month (lease required).
About the Apartment:
* Master bedroom (circled on floor plan)
* Lease term: 12/1/24 - 9/30/25
* 5th-floor walk-up (no elevator); renovated 2 years ago with new appliances, including an in-unit washer
* Utilities (electricity and internet) are split, about $40-60 per person each month
* Furniture in photos is not included
* 5-minute walk to the 6 train, and 8 minutes to Costco, Aldi, Marshalls, and Planet Fitness
Looking for Someone Who:
* Is a working professional or has a guarantor in NY/NJ (building requires credit check and income verification)
* Is quiet, reliable, and communicative
* Can help keep shared areas clean (taking turns weekly)
* Gives advance notice if bringing friends over
About Me: I work in advertising and have been in NYC for 3 years (previously lived in Boston and Michigan). I’m easygoing, keep the common areas tidy, and enjoy working out and exploring the city. My work is hybrid, so I’m in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
