I really love this space but because I’ll be moving closer to friends/family, I’m looking for someone to take over my lease in this huge rent-stabilized, pet friendly studio apartment in Bed-Stuy! The start of the lease takeover is May 1 and ends on August 31 2025 with the option to renew.

About the Apartment:


It’s on the top floor of a four-story elevator apartment that has its own semi-private outdoor roof-deck. It is about 800~ sq ft, and it comes with a split-unit central AC/Heat with built in Bluetooth speakers. In the kitchen there is a microwave, full size dishwasher, full size fridge, ceiling vent, and lots of counter space and cabinets for storage. The bathroom has a deep full size tub with a shower and has plenty of under sink storage space. There is a spacious closet next to the bathroom and the bedroom/alcove area which could hold a standing wardrobe with more than enough space for a full/queen king size bed.

The living space has enough space for a full size couch, coffee table, tv console and even a couple of desks if you work from home.

For internet,there is access to VerizonFios and the utilities that need to be paid are for gas/electric which is about $100 per month depending on your usage.

The building is great for pets as my neighbors all have either a dog or a cat and everyone gets along well! There’s a lot of natural light as it is north facing, so you get a lot of nice light in the morning without it getting too hot during the day.

It’s a 15 min walk to the J Myrtle stop and the G Bedford-Nostrand Stop, while close to the B38, B43 buses. It is also a 10 min walk away from the Herbert Von King Park that has a dog run as well as coffee shops and restaurants nearby. There are also 3-4 grocery markets and stores that are within a 5 minute walk.
