Situation: My roommate is moving out of our two bedroom apartment and we have about 5 months left on our lease until June 30, 2016. I am looking to find a roommate to share the place for the remainder of the lease. There will be an option to renew.

Apartment: 2 bedrooms / 1 bath, 26th floor of luxury high rise building, place overall is 700 sq ft., your bedroom dimensions are 11 feet x 11 feet, living room dimensions are 21 feet x 12 feet.

Features: Great sunlight in every room (windows overlooking the East River and Harlem), Laundry in building, Doorman, Elevator, three A/C units (one in each room and one in the living room), rooftop access, minutes from the 96th Street (6 train) and 86th Street (4/5/6 trains) subway stations.

Your room: East view that overlooks the East River, two large closets, your own A/C unit, solid door and walls to block out sound for privacy when needed

Neighborhood: Plenty of good restaurants / bars around, just a 10 minute walk to Central Park, and pretty much everything else you need within walking distance

Other costs besides rent: $100 per month for utilities/cable/internet. $1500 for security deposit.

About your roommate: 30-year-old male and work in finance, have lived in the city for about 8 years (and this building for five years). Very clean and respectful, and generally pretty social but we don't have to be best friends (but at least should get along!). Not around a lot during the week but on weekends will watch an occasional movie and relax.

About you: Male or female, employed, clean, friendly, not a crazy party animal that will come home at 2AM every night.
